Parking

There is limited parking on the side of the church, but most people prefer to park in front of the gym, commonly known as the TMMC. Should that area become full, additional parking is available across the street from the church.

What to Wear

You will find a variety of clothing at Oxford First United Methodist Church. Some prefer to dress in their “Sunday best”, while others are more comfortable in their t-shirt and shorts or jeans. Come in whatever makes you feel most relaxed and ready to worship the Lord.

Sunday School

Sunday school starts at 9:15 am with the 65 & up class which meets in the Q.T. Walker classroom in the educational building.

At 9:30 am you will find the New Disciples Class (in the TMMC Parlor), the Youth Class (in the Forum of the educational building, and the children’s class (2nd floor of the educational building).

Worship Times

Sunday Worship begins at 10:30 a.m.

Children and the Worship Service

All children are welcome in the worship service at Oxford First United Methodist Church.

Whatever gifts you possess, we are sure we can use them for God’s glory at Oxford First United Methodist Church!

How to Become a Member

If you feel called to become a member of Oxford First United Methodist Church, let our pastor know. She will discuss with you the call to discipleship the United Methodist Church believes in, which includes upholding the church by your prayers, presence, gifts, and service. Then, she will present you to the church. It’s as simple as that.
